RRI is the Transmission card in Ultrasite BTS. one RRI cards can Two FB (Flex Bus) ports and each FB ports can up to 16 E1 individually. One ultrasite BTS can upto four RRI cards so that eight MW links can be stablished in 1+0 mode or four Links can be stablished in 1+1 hot standby mode. BOIA is the controller card of the Ultrasite BTS BB2F is used for multiplexing and connecting BOIA card with the transciever.it i s also used for frequency hopping.
