Reflection About Ojt 252ep

Reflection 1 For the 80 hours of training ,I could say it was really such a great adventure, It was really a great experience in Southern Philippines Medical Center for me and i would treasure it for my whole life. This was the first time that i've felt being like an employee I've never imagined such thrilling event in my life. All of the Struggling,sacrifices,laughter and the happiness, that we've shared, Its amazing how we've been able to gained such memories and experience for a very short period of time. During the training i almost forgot that i was just an ojt student, i felt that i was already an employee and I’ve been part of the Public assistance complaints desk(PACD) even I’m always late they give best opportunity to learn and be part of their daily of work .I just feel sad right now because sooner or later all of this thing will end ,eventually.But everything that ive experienced during the precious days of training i think All seems to worth it. Imagine for a short period of time in training i've been able to do things which also an employee does and the best part of everything that ive learned was, communicating with others was really the most important thing to learn, because doing things without consulting someone or asking for suggestions of the others will make everything worst, relying only to yourself and trusting on things that you only got will end up to a total chaos. We have to cooperate with others and We Have to work as team, because we cannot make things successful by relying only to ourselves ,and that's a really great lesson that ive learned during the training days.

Reflection 2 It’s the 2nd day of my OJT in Spmc and I don’t know what to expect. I don’t know whether to feel excited or nervous because finally I will be able to experience the so called real world. When I came to the office for my first day, I noticed that almost all of us in the orientation looked nervous and “friendly” since we are all in the same boat of not knowing what will happen throughout our OJT experience. We looked friendly in a way that we smile at each other even if we just saw each other at that very moment. After the orientation, the real OJT experience started because we were deployed to our respective units in the company. Since I am assigned in the Human resource department, I didn’t have to go to other.

Reflection 3

It’s the third day of my OJT in Spmc and I don’t know what to expect. I don’t know whether to feel excited or nervous because finally I will be able to experience the so called real world. I was excited for my third day of OJT because it’s another day to do my task. To improve my shyness and consciousness with my pronunciation is my goal for the day. This time, I became more confident with the way I speak and how I talk to the applicants. My voice got louder also because I am getting the feel of making calls. This is what I did the whole day. We have to cooperate with others and We Have to work as team, because we cannot make things successful by relying only to ourselves ,and that's a really great lesson that ive learned during the training days.

REFLECTION 4

It’s the 4rth day of my OJT in Spmc and I don’t know what to expect. I don’t know whether to feel excited or nervous because finally I will be able to experience the so called real world. This time, I did call outs again the whole day. I didn’t have much reflection because I just did the same thing again the whole day. I was so tired because I felt like I talked and assist people in the Public assistant complaints desk (PACD) whole day without having my mouth rest. .My third day of really made me tired, what more those people who have been doing this job for more than a month already. But, it is also good that people in this field are contractual because they don’t have to do it for the rest of their lives. I salute the people who do call outs everyday because even if they are in a comfortable place, sitting the whole day, and has nothing to do but their job is really hard and very tiring.

REFLECTION 5 It’s my 5th day as an OJT Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). I am excited this day because I was given a new task. I was tasked to conduct a survey cause I like to meet other people and get to know about them, we round all the deparment to collect a survey form. When we are walking my trainer explain every facilities of spmc buildings and what are they for and after 30 minutes of walking we rested for a while. And after we continue conducting survey, conducting is very intense because here in Spmc are not like Hotel or mall, its hostpital they are many stress people here so you cannot just smile and say Good morning, But ill understand them so need a very Lot Patience I became more confident with the way I speak and how I talk to the applicants. My voice got louder also because I am getting the feel of making calls. This is what I did the whole day.

Reflection 6 Im excited of my 6th day,The task was just easy because it was enjoyable and it proved that when you enjoy doing things, it would just be easy to finish it. In the afternoon my immediate supervisor said that I will sit-in in her interview with the trainees that I scheduled yesterday. I was not aware that I will do the interview after I observed how she did it. I was so nervous because it was just short notice and I was not able to prepare much for the interview. I am really nervous because that was my first time though I will interview applicants who have the same level as me, trainees. I learned that when I am the interviewee I should be alert and a good listener so that I could give correct and relevant answers to the interviewer. Also, confidence is very important because first impression really lasts because the way interviewees act will be ed by the interviewer. It was a different and fun experience doing interviews because I get to learn from them and it will make me do better when I have my next job interview.

Reflection 7 Today, is the 7th day I was assigned to do the encoding it was very sitting there for couple of hours and do nothing but typing, I wonder what the other interns would experience in their OJT. I also wonder if they’ll enjoy their stay in SPMC. It is so funny when the contractual group calls me “sir” and they really respect me. I am sure that they don’t know that I’m just an Intern because I act like I’m really on Today, is the 6th day I was assigned to do the encoding it was very sitting there for couple of hours and do nothing but typing , I wonder what the other interns would experience in their OJT I became more confident with the way I speak and how I talk to the applicants. REFELCTION 8 Day 8, The same thing again, I did final encode to the survey and assist a Public. I tell them where to go after I instruct them and what to do after going to the check up. Also, what they need to do and where they should go after fill up there form. Every day we have a different schedule of trainer, and there is one trainer have a strict Face and thick eyebrows and make me feel nervous every time when he is with me , but he is so very smart and I notice that he like reading books too, and he give me a this Logic and he said, make three triangles using this six sticks If you I solved the problem I will buy you free food. And make me realize he is not strict person just smart, but I didn’t solved the Logic 45minutes I’m still thinking so just Give up. Also, confidence is very important because first impression really lasts because the way interviewees act will be ed by the interviewer. It was a different and fun experience doing interviews because I get to learn from them and it will make me do better when I have my next job interview.

REFLCETION 9 Day 9th It’s boring me because I do the same thing every day. I easily get bored when I do things routinely. I gave public assistant to people and encode a I finished it with no sweat. I made final instructions again. I did call outs again. I am kind of not in the mood to work today and don’t think much of what I will learn today because next week is My report so I have to study my topic and memorize it, cause I’m not good in reporting its already Friday. It means that I will have my vacation for 2. It means no tasks for me to do and no stress for me to handle. Hooray! I salute the people who do call outs everyday because even if they are in a comfortable place, sitting the whole day, and has nothing to do but their job is really hard and very tiring.

REFLECTION 10 Day 10, It’s time for me to work again today. I am still in the vacation mode because I had hung over the Bed. The tasks that I am assigned to are not changing it’s all the same. I don’t have the drive to come to PACD office and be excited on the things that my immediate supervisor will ask me to do.. I sometimes laugh at how people look at their pictures because they looked terrified or they looked surprised . Regarding the names of the applicants I am quite happy with some of the unique names and unique surnames the applicants have. I don’t have that much reflection because I am quite lazy on going to the PACD office since I don’t experience other areas of HR. Because I have a Crush working on HR she have a very large eye ball like a black pearl I often visited her every 11:30 after the Call out. I don’t really know why I’m writing this Maybe I Just need 300 words for reflection. I learn a lot of things in my OJT, some of it I adopt and apply to myself and some of it helps develop my skills and enhance my knowledge. I was so thankful that I have my OJT in this office. I learn to be more patient in every task that given to me, to be nice and humble in every person I interact and most of all to LOVE MY WORK.

REFLECTION 11 DAY 11. Today I did something quite different. I’m conducting a survey solo I became more confident in talking in front of other people because I am somehow already exposed to giving instructions. I did final instruction again people and I am thankful that I have been giving them instructions because I gained confidence in the way I talk and in the way I give instructions. It was still fun for me to make survey but I am doing it again and again that’s why the essence of fun and enjoyable feeling. I can say, I'm happy and fulfilled, being a part of PACD. I could probably say that I really learned a lot of things here. From the moment I set my feet on this place, I know I will be facing different challenges on being a part of this company but at the same time I know that I will learn new things regarding the possible work that I will be doing in the company.

Reflection 12 Made Punch in again today. I did something else again I was assigned in pad and give yellow card for those firs timers I also volunteer to Donate blood to help people. I learned to be more pro-active. I learned to ask the people of they have other questions because sometimes there are some un clear instructions for them. Today I took a tour on the heart center to collect survey . I came to know other people because I had to talk to them regarding the service that I made. Due to the lack of facilities and employee .After stapling them, I forwarded it to the my supervisor who do the call outs for the sourcing team. I could probably say that I really learned a lot of things here. From the moment I set my feet on this place, I know I will be facing different challenges on being a part of this company but at the same time I know that I will learn new things regarding the possible work that I will be doing in the company.

REFLECTION 13 Finally it’s already january I am nearing to ending my 80hrs of OJT. Anyway, today I fixed the OJT files. I filed it according to the date when they started. I placed it in a folder. I stapled the former OJTs time cards and IDs. It was just an easy task because all I had to do was file it according to date. I did call outs again to other for staff applicants and other OJT. It was just few that’s why it is not tiring and boring. I did final instructions as well. I kind of consider myself as a semi-expert in giving l instructions to people because that’s the task that I do almost every day. I am practiced already to speak with different kinds of people. I gain knowledge. I learn new skills. I met different people. I can say that my personal experience here in PGC provides everything not just for the real world of securing an employment but for me to look forward to after my graduation. Yes, someday I may be one of those applicants who are trying to seek a good job.

REFLECTION 14 I encoded the satisfaction files that I filed yesterday. I placed their number, assigned unit, , start I had a good time doing it because that’s all I had to do the whole day because there are plenty of work today. Again, my typing skills quite enhanced because I did typing job almost the whole day. As usual final instruction is part of my daily job as an Public assistant. I am quite used to giving instructions. I think I became even friendlier because the applicants that I give final instructions to, become my acquaintance and I greet them whenever I see them in PACD. The whole OJT Experiences was really a great memory to . All the working days, learn that the most important is the attitude, on how to deal with the other people, it is also needs knowledge and skills in analyzing the situation or the task that has given to you. Need to learn from your mistakes, because mistakes can make you a better person.

REFLECTION 15 During my my day, I encoded the interview date of survey form. I saw that the process of being encoded as a contractual is process. After encoding, I filed the papers again and put it in the file rack. I also did contracts for OJTs who will start on Monday. I called one my team whom I scheduled for an interview on Monday. It was nice that I had my over time today because it’s a different feeling to talk with my immediate supervisor when she is in uniform and civilian clothes. I am sure that they don’t know that I’m just an Intern because I act like I’m really one of the staff/the managers in Spmc. It feels good how other people respect me and they really make me feel that I am respected. It’s an unusual event for me that other people that I do not know call me with due respect. Experience is the best teacher and nothing compares to the knowledge that it can give to us. It may be hard at first, but once we learn to appreciate and love what we’re doing, it became easier and easier every day. In the beginning, working with people you have just first met is something different and something that is hard inside. Hard inside that you can't say anything or do anything that you are usually saying because the near fact that you might offend them or they may think you’re rude. On my experience I have became an observant and a listener to the people I worked with.

REFLECTION 16 Day 15,encoded OJT survey form in the database and I filed it afterwards. Also, I searched for Patience and other people and checked if they still in or out already. I also encoded the comments and complaints of other patience. Since today is Friday the there were many people here now for check up and I am always happy to greet people and patience, and shake my hands. haha not knowing that I am an just student. I learned to ask the people of they have other questions because sometimes there are some un clear instructions for them. Today I took a tour on the heart center to collect survey . REFLECTION 17 I didn't do much today because my supervisor was conducting an orientation in Pay ward 3 he told me to stay here in PACD office because were are not allowed on that area I don’t why. So I just visited my friend assigned in PAD office he visited me also in free time. s a trainee you will never avoid those who are strict and what they popularly called kill joys. Sometimes you may handle them but sometimes you'll just want to avoid them.I learned to be punctual, to be respectful especially to those on the higher position, to socialize and build a harmonious relationship with other employees, to persevere and be patient, to be cautious in all the works that I do, to be humble and always eager to learn, and many more. I've been on an On-the-Job-Training course for about 80 hours, and one of the hardest issues to face is how to PROVE YOURSELF- that you are really doing your job and that you deserve a good grade, not only to your supervisor but also to your workmates.

REFLECTION 18

My contract, 18 working days and I am done with my OJT. I will really miss PACD when school starts and when I start not going to work anymore. It was nice being with the people in PACD that’s why there are times that I don’t want to stop my OJT yet. However, when school starts I won’t be able to sleep for a long period of time that’s why I want my OJT to end already. It is ironic but, I am the only one who can understand what I am feeling right now. I received a messaged from my group they say they going to supprise our supervisors but I cant go I have my report in 1:30 so I cant go That’s all I did today. I am quite happy and disappointed today. Happy because I will extend for one more day and I’ll be with my school friends. Disappointed because I thought I am already finished with my OJT and that I will be able to sleep for longer hours since the month of June is fast approaching. It means that I will go to school every day again and I will have to wake up early. In my last day of SPMC (PACD) I felt mixed emotions, partly happy and partly sad. Partly happy and rewarding because finally we’re done in this OJT subject that lasted for almost less than 80 hours and partly sad because we’ll going to miss our trainers and other employees in PACD especially to my crush here at HR Thank you so much Sir our friendship built in this company will surely last. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience and for the great people we’ve met along this learning journey.
