Republic of the Philippines Department of Education DIVISION OF MASBATE Rodeo Road, Masbate City NARRATIVE REPORT NESTLE WELLNESS CAMPUS 2016 The Division of Masbate Province, Region V s the programs of the Region in improving the quality of education in partnership with the different organizations. This Division strongly s the implementation of the "Nestle Wellness Campus 2016". The "Nestle Wellness Campus Program" was launched by the GreatFil Team Inc. together with the Division of Masbate Province last September 6, 2016 at Mobo National High School and attended by Public Schools District Supervisors, District Sports Coordinators, Secondary School Heads and Secondary School Coordinators from 1:00-5:00 in the afternoon. GreatFil Team Incorporated discussed several topics as regards to the program. Distributed modules, videos, and waivers to the participating schools through the school sports coordinators. To ensure the implementation of the said program, the division personnel conducted a division monitoring of program implementation last November 7-18, 2016. MAPEH teachers showed educational videos (dancercise) to the pupils and students, modules were their basis in the discussions of the topics pertaining to the Nestle Wellness Program and these modules were integrated in MAPEH lessons. Schools distributed parents' consent and waivers to the pupils and students who were interested to the program and retrieved by the MAPEH Coordinators. On the other hand, the dancercise was performed in every flag raising ceremony, physical education class and free time of the pupils and students. selected pupils/students were the trainers of the dance. The final presentation was done before the deadline of the submission of reports. Districts and secondary schools submitted the parents' consent, waiver, consolidated narrative reports, portfolios and pictorials of "Nestle Wellness Dance Campus 2016" through the school sports coordinator to the office of the division sports coordinator. All schools had the same experiences relating to the implementation: improve personal health, attract pupil/students come to school, encourage parents and students to plant fruit bearing trees and vegetables, eat nutritious foods instead of foods, bring more fun to the pupils and students, above all, healthy individual builds self-esteem and confidence. Comments, s and opinions of pupils, students and stakeholders served as holding power of the schools to strengthen the promotion of healthy lifestyle in school and in the community as a whole. Nestle Wellness Campus 2016 has contributed a lot to the awareness of the learners in of health and physical activities.
