The reaction those two got was polar opposite, when Fumiya informed that Yotsuba couldn't give a helping about defending from military, Tatsuya was immediately understand about it, also he reassured Fumiya that he was well armed, with Freed Suit and its bike, also he had his Silver Torus, Silver Horn Trident, Lance Head. Also mountain was his field ground, no matter what, he wouldn't lost, unless the "modern kashin" and "Dai tengu" class came to attack. Modern Kashin = Kokonoe Yakumo Dai Tengu = Kazama Harunobu Tatsuya iterated his understand why Yotsuba couldn't help because if they're giving a hand, they would deemed an enemy of military and force them to live in underground only. Even then Katsuto still attacked him, but Katsuto surprised because Tatsuya able to decompose 32 layers in Phalanx. Because Katsuto thought Tatsuya was already weakened. He said, "So that's Regrowth..." Just after that, Tatsuya preparation complete, and Lance Head already affixed to Trident. So the fight ended Tatsuya explained the nature of attack, in order to make Katsuto itting defeat, to make him understand it's futile to continue this showdown. Also, Tatsuya wasn't tired, even if the intelligence squad really came to attack Tatsuya, he would easily defeat them all. It seems that it was disclosed that Taurus Silver is a japanese high school student. It's thought that it could be George, but it seems Honoka started to connect the dots thinking TS could be Tatsuya. The principal, vice-principal and Jennifer Smith call Tatsuya in and ask him if he is TS. They go even as far as saying that Tatsuya can graduate from Magic University. There isn't a deadline set for Tatsuya. Tatsuya is also exempt from needing to attend classes. Maya is talking to Tatsuya, Miyuki and Minami saying that Minami will protect Miyuki who will go to Chofu and Tatsuya to Izu. Maya is pissed. She through her tea cup into the air and used Meteor Stream to destroy it. Hayama tell her that she's relied too much on the system. The two of them talk about if Edward is connected to the system and mention if he should be assassinated.(edited) Maya seems to have known all about Echelon. Tatsuya is visiting Yakumo and during one of their breaks Yakumo asks him about the situation. It's mentioned that even though Tatsuya calls him "Master", that he is just an acquaintance, same with Miyuki. Yakumo tells him that he doesn't want to die yet. Yakumo tells him that if something were to

happen to Miyuki, that he wouldn't be able to survive against the flame that sures nuclear weapons (aka Tatsuya). Thus leaving Tatsuya to ponder while the part ends. It's no surprise though that even among the 4 superpowers that after WWIII the NSU regained it's old strength as the USSR and the Tatsuya doesn't trust the words of the broadcast. Also mentioning to Miyuki that Japan isn't capable of standing up to the USNA or even the NSU. At the end Tatsuya starts thinking about how conflicts will start spreading again. Thinking if a deterrence is necessary. That in his hands is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. That moving forward into the future that his name would bear notoriety. He thus decided to prepare for such a day that evening.(edited) During a secret communication between Edward, William and Igor its mentioned that Taurus Silver, the japanese high school student is the Strategic-Class Magician responsible for the "Great Bomb". Things continue on with the name that the japanese gave it and what it is. Material Burst, being mass conversion. It's mentioned that it is a threat that will destroy the worlds military balance. Igor asks for the identity of Taurus Silver and Edward mentions that the three of them should meet on a ship, which happens to be the newest aircraft carrier from the USNA Credit to LordOdin(edited) ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ After the Mexico riots, riots have continued in the USNA, but not to the scale of needing to send out troops. All of the Magic Association is in an uproar being busy. Hitsui calls for an emergency Master Clans Conference where Kouichi urged asking in a cold tone why they were called and for her to explain. Atsuko calls the Americans selfish and that the japanese don't have to obey the obligation, and Hitsui tells them because after the surprise of Igor, one of the Thirteen Apostles having ed Project Dione that Japan now has to respond since a citizen was announced. Hitsui states out asking Maya if Taurus Silver is her son, Tatsuya. Saying that she received a letter from the USNA Embassy. That the USNA hasn't published the name of Taurus Silver publically because he is underaged. Maya laughingly tells Hitsui that the choice is up to Tatsuya while everyone stays silent. It's discussed that Tatsuya working on the project would be a loss for the Yotsuba Family having Tatsuya on the Project. Not even the USNA military knows much of what he's up to. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ In Ch2- The Great Asian Union used a modified version of Active Air Mine to kill a large number of people. While Shizuku was supposed to the one on record to be the founder of this magic, after Tatsuya was named a member of the Yotsuba he no longer needed to hid his identity and was named the creator of this magic. However it created a lot of bad press and publicity for Tatsuya and

blame is thrown his way. Because of this the 9SC is cancelled and the other schools blame Tatsuya for it. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ Ch10 is Tatsuya in Izu alone while the day before Miyuki went back to Chofu. There is an emergency broadcast with an anonymous vibe where it is Raymond saying that he is a sage, one of the Seven Sages. Blatently stating that he is hoping for Taurus Silver to Project Dione along with announcing who the person is, Tatsuya etc. Tatsuya picks up and thinks of Raymond or Edward. There is a narration where Tatsuya didn't calculate this kind of intervention. There's also the fact that the Magic Association knew about him, that the government was pressuring for the truth and that the measures taken by Edward are out of control. Thus Tatsuya learns that he is being hunted down. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ During sibling report to Maya, Maya ordered (or requested?) Tatsuya to not attending school in order to wait everything cooled down. Tatsuya surprised when he was ordered to Izu instead of main house. And Maya remarked whether he forgot or anything. In Izu, there was a villa where his mother was treated. Tatsuya: So it's still not demolished. Maya: How can we demolish it? It's your mother's favorite villa after all. Hearing that Tatsuya renew his thinking about Yotsuba. After all, Yotsuba was a clan that wager war against one nation just because a girl, fulfiling their revenge in exchange of half family killed. Because I'm not your sister anymore but your fiancee. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ During the discussion between Miyuki and Tatsuya about Igor's interview which in that interview Igor iterated that New Soviet intended to fully participate with Project Dione. New Soviet and USNA were supposed an enemy but then they were cooperating together for this project, in other words, USNA allies more or less should do the same, and Japan wasn't in exception. About the project, Tatsuya realized that this project has hidden agenda to weaken magic power another countries other than USNA because the most excellent magicians would do their work for Project Dione. In the same pattern with that thinking, Tatsuya realized too that his "plan" to change the destiny of magician from weapon parts to economic pillar has a detrimental point too. If the strong magician has to involved in economical works/jobs, it then left army with lack of excellent magician, even a country with good economy, it would be meaningless with the lack of military power (because other country would easily trample the weaker country).

So Tatsuya thought the need of a deterrent power which able to avoid that kind of scenario happens, while looking to his hand ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ Some additional information to the Miyuki/Ayako conversation: Ayako tells Miyuki that the Defense Forces are going to attempt to abduct Tatsuya. Miyuki wasn’t surprised by this. Ayako goes on to say that she will inform them when the ID plans to make their move as soon as they find out. Ayako also says that neither the head family nor the branch families can Tatsuya with anything but information. When Miyuki confirms that this message came from Maya, the room temperature suddenly decreased. The tea on the table freezes and frost begins to show around the room. The cooling phenomenon was not just limited to that but ice began to form in Ayako’s hair and clothes. Miyuki says that if Ayako doesn’t seriously try to resist that she will freeze. Minami enters and asks if everything is okay, to which Miyuki tells her to draw a bath for Ayako. Before Ayako heads off to the bath, Ayako compares themselves to Maya and Miya (As far as sisters go). Ayako also says that Miyuki is the only one that can help out Tatsuya this time. Miyuki didn’t feel guilty at all with her actions. After getting into the bathroom Ayako starts to think about Miyuki and her power. Ayako had protected herself but even so her hair and clothes were still frozen, her magic defense was helpless against that phenomenon. It was as if the spirit of the world was being influenced by Miyuki’s power. Ayako knows that magic is supernatural and separate from reason, but she couldn’t help but shake violently when the she started to shower. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ Mayumi intent by accompanying Katsuto She believed that Katsuto would win against Tatsuya, so she felt she need to go there to stop if things going too far. She knew Tatsuya is strong but she thought that Tatsuya wouldn't win against Katsuto, what she knew Tatsuya trump card only that "healing" magic (it's secret so she just said "healing" magic). When that happens, Katsuto wouldn't be able to hold back and maybe ended up killing Tatsuya (that's what she thought). Katsuto then was agreed to bring her, in hoping any direct confrontation could be avoided and resolution could be reached peacefully. Oh, Katsuto went to persuade Tatsuya as a ambassador of Japan Magic Association, he had to do it because no other people who closer than him in 10MC clan during 10MC clan online meeting. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ There are two point notable about Lina's attendance as guard for Clark during 3 countries meeting. 1. The truth she found by chance about the main engine of Enterprise ship (I didn't read it carefully so just know that Enterprise ship is largest USNA Carrier which unknown to anyone what the fuel it used. At first, it's suspected that it uses nuclear power but after International Magic Association investigation, no such hints of any nuclear power used, so its main power remains mystery to anyone) The most interesting part is the 2nd, because the main power to power the ship is magicians, literally. She tread unintended forbidden area of the ship, found the psion wave to invoke magic, but the wave would be impossible if invoked only by one person, she thought it would only possible with 10 to 20 people who invoke same magic at same time. But this technique needed a highly synchronized magicians and literally impossible, it's possible if the magician's free will was removed. Not to mention this technique broke military regulations. So she came to conclusion that the main engine for the ship were magicians.

At first, she thought there's no such magician that be a weapon against his/her will. She took herself as example, that it's her decision to be a soldier, while Tatsuya iterated to her that his ambition was the world where no such magician anymore. But after she realized the main engine of Enterprise, she psychologically was in turmoil. Clark didn't threat Lina to keep the information, he said if by any chance the information leaked, it's highly probable the info would became a public. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ - Silver's identity was exposed to the whole of japan. - Shizuku's active air mine from 2 9sc ago was picked to upgrade in power. - Because of military influence, 9sc is canceled this year. - Because it involves reputation of international society, magic association asked kastuto to persuade tatsuya to go to USNA. And also first high principal. - In order to not get involved, maya allow him to go izu to hide, together with miyuki - Kastuto, mayumi and mari arrived at izu to persuade tatsuya, but tatsuya realized that the true purpose of dione project was to distance magicians from the army and rejected it. - After that force was used, tatsuya use new magic to defeat kastuto. At the same moment, intelligence division that was sent to capture tatsuya was easily defeated by erika and co. - Raymond contiued revealing the identity of silver to the whole country. - Active air mine was upgraded into a lethal magic. - Rejection of the offer to dione project which aim was to use magic as a peace offering has made tatsuya be regarded as a evil person. ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ Tatsuya is involved in a conspiracy involving the USNA. A lot of pressure is placed on the 9 schools and 10 MCs, due to public opinion and they judge that they can no longer ignore it. Maya ignores the request, but judges that there will be some confrontation but that even if they tried to help it wouldn’t accomplish much. Tatsuya who is contemplating such things doesn’t accept the request from the USNA involving Project Dione, and shows resolve to confront anyone if they turn into an enemy. Miyuki can’t help but be angry with the military, the Yotsuba, and the schools, since they are not trying to help at all. Juumonji, Mari and Mayumi try to persuade Tatsuya, but there is a breakdown and they become enemies. Juumonji fights Tatsuya and Tatsuya uses Baryon Lance. Mayumi and Mari try to help him out but are stopped by Miyuki and Minami. In contrast, Tatsuya’s friends remain loyal despite everything going on. The evaluations of the senior students keeps decreasing. The trap by the USNA is clear to Tatsuya but it’s oblivious the seniors. If Tatsuya is gone it is exactly what the other countries want. There seems to be a certain level of hypocrisy that Japan doesn’t need nuclear weapons. (The readers opinion) The attack by the Information Division was stopped by Tatsuya’s classmates. Kazama isn’t handling this situation well, and it looks like there may come an opportunity to break away from the military. There was a lot disappointment involving certain characters, as a reader I hate those who conspire against Tatsuya and want them to be erased quickly. She's the current President of the Japanese Magic Association, in her current term of July 2096 to June 2097. - Honoka has a new magic per se. Known as "Hypno Eye", it has a hypnotic effect. It's an improved Evil Eye that uses light from the Oscillation-Type magic. Instead of limiting any effects to make one sleep, it improves the power and range, including the number of people that it can be used on - Miyuki releases the seal from Pledge on Tatsuya in this volume.
