Before You Start If you use ZSentry through an organization, the ZSentry Manager at the organization before you start. Otherwise, you will be asked to enter your Name, Email Address and ZSentry access codes. Workflow Scenarios The Incoming Mail Server section will not be affected by ZSentry. You will just need to setup the ZSentry secure SMTP service, according to your desired workflow. Everything else is done automatically through ZSentry and your device, with no use or change of your existing IMAP, POP, SMTP, and Inbox services or providers. There is no change to your MX or other DNS records either. Please select from the following scenarios the workflow that fits how you wish to use ZSentry with your device, then go to the respective setup / use instructions: Send Secure: Use the same Email Address to receive both regular and secure email but send secure email only. This setup prevents use errors. Send Choice: Use the same Email Address to receive both regular and secure email and choose when to send regular or secure email. This is a versatile setup. Setup for “Send Secure” BEFORE YOU START: Using the device's instructions, use or create now an email setup that sends and receives regular (not secure) email using the same Email Address. Host Name: zsentry.com Name: Enter your same Email Address exactly as ed with ZSentry; letter-case does not matter. : (see HINT) Type your ZSentry code followed by your ZSentry (cAse SeNSitiVE). HINT: This is not your IMAP or POP . This is your SMTP for the added server, hardened by ZSentry. If the ZSentry code is ABCDEF and the ZSentry is pwd123-ABpwd then the SMTP is ABCDEFpwd123ABpwd. The correct letter-case for the ZSentry must be used.
Tap Save or Next. At this point, be patient. An error message may appear asking if you want to try setting up the without SSL. Tap No. You may have to make two changes: SSL to ON and Server Port to 465. Tap Next and the device should ask if you want to save. Tap Save, then tap the next Save (one or more) until you see the s screen. Tap the you just added, then tap it again in the next screen. Scroll down past the IMAP Information to the bottom and tap zsentry.com in the SMTP line in the Outgoing Mail Server area, to change screens. Tap zsentry.com and go almost to the bottom of the screen. Slide the “Use SSL” control to ON and in the last line of the screen, change Server Port by tapping the numbers 465. On this screen, enter the following information: Name: Enter your name. Independently of your entry, ZSentry will use your Name exactly as it was ed with ZSentry. Email: Enter
[email protected]. This is a masteralias address used by ZSentry internally. Do not use it anywhere else. This will not affect the email address shown in your message's “From” field in the Internet. : Type four characters of anything. You will actually setup your strong in the next steps. Description: Enter a unique description for this , for example type ZSENTRY. Tap Save or Next. (If you made a mistake in the entries above, correct now before you proceed.) Now, as currently required by iOS, you must first enter the information for a “dummy” IMAP or POP . ZSentry will not use or send email to this . The Name and Host Name in this “dummy” must not be any email address or server that you use in this device. You can just make it up; it should work. If not, then you must get the needed “dummy” from your organization or a free online service. At the top of the screen, tap IMAP or POP and scroll down to the Incoming Mail Server section. Enter the values for the “dummy” . ZSentry does not use, change, or provides for these services.

How To Use Launch the Mail app. To send securely: With “Send Secure”: create your email and tap Send. With “Send Choice”: tap on From when creating an email (you may need to tap 2x); you will see a “wheel selector” with the s you can use, then select

Troubleshooting 1. From the Home screen, tap Settings. On the Settings screen, tap Mail, s, Calendars. You will be directed to the screen where you will see your current email s. Tap on the one that you set up for zsentry.com – it should show the same Description name that you used. 2. At the top, make sure that the is set to ON. Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section and on SMTP tap zsentry.com. Make sure that zsentry.com is the Primary Server, and is the only Server that is ON. In the Primary Server section, tap zsentry.com. 3. The first three settings (Host Name, Name, ) should have the values described in these instructions for your desired workflow Send Secure or Send Choice; please revisit the values if in doubt. 4.
