DUA–UL WAZIFA Allaahumma anta al awalu falaisa khablaka sai-un, wa antal akhiru falaisa badaka sai-un, wa anta zaahiru falaisa fawkhaka sai-un, wa antal baatinu falaisa dunaka sai-un, fakun lanaa yaa awalu yaa aakhiru yaa zaahiru yaa baatinu waliiyan wa nashiyran anta waliyunaa wa mawlaanaa fanehmal mawlaa nehma nasiru Allaahumma innaa nasaluka bi faatihiyatil faatihi al fat-ha taamma wa bikhaatimiyatil khaatimi husni al khitaami Allahumma innaa nasaluka minal khayri kullihi aajilihi wa haajilihi maa alimnaa minhu wa maa lam nalam, wa na-auuzu bika min al sharri kullihi aajilihi wa aajilihi maa alimnaa minhu wa maa lam nalam Allahumma innaa nasalukal jannata wa maa kharraba ilaihaa min khawlin, wa hamalin wa na-uuzu bika minal naari wa maa kharraba ilaihaa min khawlin wa amalin Allahumma innaa nasalukal afwa wal afiyatu wal mu aafaati daa-imati fi diini wad dunyaa wal aakhirati Allahumma innaa nasaluka ridaaka wa ridaa nabiyika wa ridal waalidayni Wa ridal ashyaakhi Allahumma ijal maa nuhibbu fii maa tuhibbu wa tardhaa Allahumma ijal fikhtiyaarika ikhtiyaarinaa, wa laa tajal illa ilaika idtiraarinaa

Yaa rabbanaa yaa khaalikhal hawaalimi, khul baynanaa wa bayna kuli zaalimin, wa jizi likulli man ilainaa ahsanaa, wa jaazii annaa jazaal ahasanaa Allahumma irfa hannal jahda wal juwa, wal ourya waksif anna minal balaa-e maa laa yakshifuhu khayruka Allahumma farij an ummati saydinaa Muhammadin salallahu alaihi wa sallam Allahumma farij an ummati saydinaa Muhammadin salallahu alaihi wa sallam Allahumma farij an ummati saydinaa Muhammadin salallahu alaihi wa sallam Rabbanaa aatinaa fii dunyaa hasanatan wa fil aakhirati hasanatan wa khinaa azaaba naar Rabbanaa laa tu-aakhiznaa innasinaa aw akhtanaa Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil alaynaa ishran kamaa hamaltahu halallazina min khablinaa Rabbanaa wa laa tuhamilnaa maa laa taukhata laana bihi wahfu hannaa waghfir lanaa war hamnaa anta mawlaanaa fanshurnaa alal khawmil kaafiriin Rabbanaa laa tuzigh khuluubanaa bada iz hadaytanaa Wa hab lanaa min ladunka rahmatan innaka antal wahaab

Rabbanaa inanaa saminaa munaadiyan yunaadii lil imaani an aaminuu birabikum fa aamanaa Rabbanaa faghfir lanaa zunubanaa wa kaffir anaa Sayi-aatinaa wa tawafanaa maal abraari Rabbanaa wa aatinaa maa wa adtanaa alaa rusulika Wa laa tukhzinaa yawmal khiyaamati innaka laa tukhliful miaadi Rabbanaa aatinaa min ladunka rahmatan wa hayi lanaa min amrinaa rashadan Rabbanaa hablanaa min azwaajinaa wa zurriyatinaa khurrata ahyunin wajaalnaa lil muttakhina imaaman Allahumma ikhfir lihayinaa wa mayitina, wa kabiirinaa wa shakhiirinaa, wa zakarinaa wa unsaanaa, wa haadirinaa wa khaa ibinaa, wa hurrinaa wa habdinaa, wa taahinaa wa hasiinaa, Amiin Allaahumma salli alaa saydinaa Muhammadin ilfaatihi limaa ukhlikha Wal khaatimi limaa sabakha Naasiril hakhi bil hakhi Wal haadii ilaa sirratikal mustakhim wa alaa aalihi hakha khadri wa mikhdarihil hazim Subhaana Rabbika Rabbil hizati amaayazifun

wa salaamun alal mursalina Walhamdu lilaahi Rabbil aalamin IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFFICIAL, THE MERCIFUL. This is the prayer said after the Wazifah (once a day, prayer) by the great Sheikh, our mentor, Al Hajj Ibrahim Niasse ibn Al Hajj Abdullahi Niasse, may Allah be pleased with both of them and all Muslims, male and female. Amen. This is it: O Allah, you are the First; there is nothing before you. And you are the Last; there is nothing after you. And you are the Manifest; there is nothing above you. And you are the Hidden; there is nothing beyond you. Thus, be our Guardian and Helper, O You the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. What an Excellent Patron and what an Excellent Patron You are! O Allah, we beseech you by the Opening, Opener (of grace), that you grant us a perfect victory, and by the Closing, conclusion, that you grant us a good end. O Allah, we beseech you to grant us all good, its immediate and everlasting, that which we know and which we don't know. O Allah, we beseech You for Paradise and whatever draws one closer to it in speech and in deeds. And we seek refuge with you from the fire and whatever draws one closer to it in speech and in deeds. O Allah, we pray that you grant us forgiveness, health, and exemption from evil forever in the Religion (of Islam) in this world and in the hereafter. We also beseech you for your pleasure and the pleasure of Your Prophet (pbuh), the pleasure of the religious scholars, and the pleasure of the parents. O Allah, grant what we desire among what you wish;

and make our choice be among your own choices; and do not direct our plight to anyone except you. Our Lord, the Creator of the universe, disassociates us from every wrong doer, and rewards everyone that is good to us and blesses them abundantly for us. O Allah, cast trouble, hunger and blame away from us and guard us against calamities that no one except you can forestall. Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the torment of fire. Our Lord, punish us not if we forget or fall into error; Our Lord, lay not on us a burden like that which you laid on those before us; Our Lord, put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Patron. And give us victory over the disbelieving people. Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after you have guided us, and grant us mercy from you. Truly, you are the Bestowed. Our Lord, verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad) calling to faith saying: 'Believe in your Lord' and we have believed. Our Lord, forgive us our sins and expedite from us our evil deeds and make us die among the pious and righteous believers. Our Lord, grant us what you promised us through your messenger and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for you never break (Your) promise. Our Lord, we have wronged our own souls, and if you do not forgive us and bestow your mercy upon us, we shall certainly be among the losers. Our Lord, bestows on us Mercy from you, and facilitates for us our affairs in the right way. Our Lord, bestows on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort for our eyes, and makes us leaders of the pious ones.

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our old and young, our male and female, the present and the absent among us, the free and the slaves, as well as the obedient and the disobedient among us. O Allah, may your blessing be upon our Leader, Muhammad, the Opener of what is closed and the finalist of the previous, the Helper of truth with the truth and the Guide to Your straight path, and (also) upon his (Muhammad's) family, whose status is true and (whose) grade is great. *****
