Visual Inspection

1. Ensure the Permission / Approval for shut down

2. Preliminary visual inspection

3. Prepare the complete header that needs to be tested

12. check for any leaks from the flange

4. Check the tightness of the bolts (body and flange)

13. check for any leaks at the valve handle

5. Open the bleeding valve and look for leaks

14. Check for body leaks

6. Isolation of the valve (testing valve)

15. check external coating

Leak test

7. fill diesel in the upstream of the valve for ball vale or downstream for check valve

16. check for any cracks on the valve

8. open the drain valve - downstream for ball vale or downstream for check valve

17. check for any cracks- nuts and bolts

9. check for leaks in downstream for ball vale or downstream for check valve

18. check the valve actuation performance
