I was flying my kite at the beach and the wind picked-up and it became stronger, my kite string broke and I lost my kite. I guess my kite wanted to go higher than I could let it…This made me feel unhappy to see it go. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My friend borrowed my book and when she returned it back to me it had a ripped page. She did say sorry, but I was still upset about it. Things just happen and that’s o.k.

I found a beautiful seashell on the seashore and a wave knocked me over, I dropped it and lost it! Things just happen and that’s o.k.

My family and I were driving in our car early in the morning to an adventurous park and all of a sudden we heard a large, “Pop!” sound. Our car drove funny as we sat in our seats. The car would wobble back and forth so my daddy got out, as we stayed inside. My daddy announced we had a flat tire. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I went to have my favorite Ice Cream in the freezer and it was gone! Someone in my family had finished it! Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My grandma and grandpa came over this afternoon to my house for a surprise visit and we were not home! All we got was a note on the door saying, we came by and missed seeing all of you. XOXO. Love, Grandpa and Grandma. I stomped my foot in anger. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I was at school having my recess time with my friends and we were running around together fast! I fell down hard and scraped both my knees and I was in a lot of pain. My teacher gave me TLC, cleaned them and put Band-Aids on both knees, I tried my best to keep the tears back. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I was walking home from a friend’s house and I saw something laying in the street very still. I walked slowly up to it, I didn’t know what to expect. Then I saw it! It was a bird; I think a hurt bird. It didn’t move, blink or try to fly. It laid there very still and wasn’t in any pain. I said kind words and goodbye and started walking home again. Things just happen and that’s o.k.

I had a horrible stomach-ache and I had to go to the bathroom a lot! I couldn’t go to my friend’s house and this made me feel upset. Things just happen and that’s o.k.

I went to the Hair Salon to just get a hair trim and when I looked in the large mirror, she had cut it into a, “Bob hairstyle”. It turned out good because I liked it and I thought it looked cute on me, so I was happy with it. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I was painting a beautiful water coloring picture and I accidentally smeared my picture with my hand! I tried to fix it and repair it, but it still looked messy. This made me feel frustrated. Things just happen and that’s o.k.

I heard about a popular classmate was having a Birthday Party and ing out Birthday Party Invitations. I waited all day for it. I kept smiling at him, but nothing came to me. Then right before I got on the bus his twin sister handed me the invite card. I was overwhelmed with happiness. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My big brother kept sneezing and always had a runny nose and eyes. We had just purchased a puppy when this all began. My parents took him to the doctor and it turned out that he’s allergic to dog hair. I had to say good-bye to my new puppy because we had to give him away. I will miss him, but my brother was beginning to feel better. Things just happen and that’s o.k.

Our vegetable garden grows delicious tomatoes! I went to pick a tomato and as I walked to the kitchen with it a green horned worm had crawled out! Yuck! I screamed because it scared me! Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

It was late in the evening and I was hungry! I thought milk and cookies would be a great dessert. I went to the cookie jar and took out two chocolate chip cookies and put them on a plate. I reached for a glass in the cupboard and set it down next to my cookies. I went to the refrigerator and there was No Milk! I put the cookies back and went to bed. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I had a special party to attend that required, “Dressy” clothes. I picked out a colorful and pretty dress and little sweater that matched and it was perfect! I slipped into my party shoes and touched-up my hair. I did a full circle look in the mirror to make sure everything looked just right. Then there it was a hole in my sweater right in my arm sleeve-Yikes! Thank goodness I did the full circle mirror check. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I took my bracelet off to jump rope with my friends. I laid it carefully down and placed it on the ground with my jacket. My friends and I had fun jumping together and when we were finished I grabbed my jacket and I went home. I looked at my wrist and noticed my bracelet wasn’t there! My heart flew to my throat and butterflies danced in my stomach. I ran back and hoped it would be there. I saw a sparkle and got closer and there it was! I put it back on and went home. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My friend has cancer and he’s lost all his hair. I bought him a cool baseball cap to wear, so when he looks at himself he’s not reminded of it. I went to the hospital to visit him and gave him his gift. When I got there to his room I saw a nice boy talking to him with a full head of hair. He was explaining to him how his hair will grow and come back. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I woke up with a weird rash and funny bumps all over my tummy. My mommy was concerned, so she took me to the doctor just to see what it was. My doctor explained to us that it’s Chicken Pox and that’s what the rash is from and the funny bumps. I can’t go to school until they scab over. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I was having a great time playing outside in the sunshine, when all of a sudden I felt a drop of water! First on my nose, then arm, next head and lastly on my shoulder. It was official the sunny day was turning into a rainy day. I ran inside, made popcorn and watched a movie. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I got my bike and dog and decided to ride my bike and take my dog for a walk at the same time. I put his collar on and hooked the leash on. I straddled my legs over my bike and held the leash handle tight, but my footing was off and I wasn’t ready…and my dog pulled me to the ground. I cried hard because it hurt me a lot, especially, my shoulder it was bleeding. I took my dog in the house and left my bike outside in the street. I told my uncle and he just laughed about it and that made me feel annoyed. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I made good grades in school, so my parents rewarded me with buying a new shirt. Mom and I went shopping at the mall and I found the cutest top at the popular clothing store. I wore my top the next day to school and as I walked down the hall, looking and feeling pretty I suddenly stopped in my tracks! There she was! A popular girl wearing the same shirt…I felt like the sunshine was gone. I walked past her with a forced smile, but I felt those funny tummy butterflies. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My family and I have been planning a camping trip now for months. We’ve been saving and watching every penny just so we can have all the necessities for traveling, camp grounds and food. My daddy had to cancel our camping trip because he had an important work project that came up. We all were discouraged, so I decided to make the best out of it. My brother and I set up our tent outside and we got the lanterns, flash lights, our comfy sleeping bags and we wore our cozy flannel pajamas. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

I went outside to the front yard to play on my favorite tree. I can climb it and I have this cool swing with a plank chained to a huge strong branch. I looked and then looked again and it was gone! It had been cut down to a stump and there were lots of logs stacked neatly next to it. Dad explained the tree was not safe anymore, for me or for our home because it was about to fall over. The next day when I came home I went to the backyard and there was a beautiful swing set waiting for me to play on. Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.

My daddy and mommy sat my brother and I down at the couch, for a family discussion. I thought it was because we were going to be told not to argue with each other anymore! They made an announcement that Mommy is going to have a baby! I felt first surprised, next happy and lastly excited! Things just happen 24/7 and that’s o.k.
