Project Aim The project RENAISSANCE basically aims at making learning easy, fun, accessible to all, free of cost and to provide great academic 24*7 . RENAISSANCE basically is a LMS i.e a Learning Management System that aims in vitalizing the campus i.e a virtual campus accessible to all at no cost . The basic aim of RENAISSANCE is to remove the sentence “ If we would have been provided with great resources and a great we would have achieved something “ from the mind of students . RENAISSANCE will change the look of students towards the education.

Justification RENAISSANCE is necessary in order to provide the right resources, right and right motivation at the right time i.e the time when one requires it.

 Need RENAISSANCE is needed because it will provide the students with right things to entrust their creativity and talent at the right time. Libraries are there, assignment strategies are there but they have become so monotonous that it just encourages the world wide waste technology of copy paste instead RENAISSANCE will do the same tasks but in a very interesting manner that it will fulfill the academic needs of a student and will entrust their talent and creativity.



Issues The issues that RENAISSANCE will be considering are 24*7 academic , online resources, online assignments and projects, online quizzes and their online evaluation and various other sections that will provide the students to show and continue their talent with a great enthusiasm

Project Description RENAISSANCE is a LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM which aims at making learning fun even at graduation level.

TECHNICAL ASPECTS Technology Used: 1) PHP 2) APACHE SERVER 3) MY SQL

These technologies are suppose to be used in the project but they will be used indirectly by using an open source e-learning platform MOODLE that basically stands for “Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment” which uses the technologies mentioned above, for further reference you can visit http://www.moodle.org

Options : In today’s competitive and expensive world if you need to provide something at free of cost you need to develop that application at no cost then only one will be able to provide the application at free of cost. We would have opted for various other technologies but we have opted for these technologies just because they are open source technologies under GNU Public License and will cost nothing.

Summary RENAISSANCE is a LMS that will use open source technologies like php, apache server and my sql backend in order to provide a great student teacher interaction, great 24*7, good evaluation schemes to evaluate the student in all aspects in short it will virtualize the campus.
