Class Policies  Attendance will be checked every meeting. The maximum number of absences is seven.  Scientific calculators must be brought every meeting.  Late submissions will not be accepted.  Any sound-producing device must be put in silent mode during classes and exams.  Early/make-up exams will only be given if the reason is valid, with accompanying proof.  Class standing will be given around a week before the deadline for dropping, which is on October 27, 2016 (Thursday).  A grade of “4” may be removed only by re-examination taken during the removal examination period.  A grade of “INC” is given if a student, whose class standing throughout the semester is “ing” but fails to take the final examination or fails to complete other requirements of the subject due to illness or other valid reasons. Removal of this grade may be done within the prescribed time of 1 academic year.  In case the class standing is not “ing” and the student fails to take the final examination for any reason, a grade of “5” shall be given.
