Sonalika ITL unveils technologically advanced “DI 750 III HDM”, “Rx 47 4WD” AND “GARDENTRAC 22” for Maharashtra farmers ~Recorded sale of more than 45,000 tractors in the region so far till date ~ Pune, March 29: India’s 3rd largest tractor manufacturer, Sonalika International Tractors Ltd., today unveils new technologically advanced DI 750 III HDM (Heavy Duty Mileage) series for farmers looking for long lasting heavy duty usage and unmatched combination of power, mileage and speed. The tractor is designed to operate heavier and bigger implements in hard soil conditions. The Company has also introduced Rx 47 in 4 wheel drive version and GardenTrac 22 to meet special needs of Maharashtra farmers. These new tractors will be available in the market soon. SonalikaITL currently holds a market share of 13.5% in the State (FY 2016 till February, 2016- as per TMA). Today, Sonalika ITL has more than 45,000 tractors in Maharashtra with a dealership network of more than 90 in the State. The company aims to expand its dealer base to come closer to its customers and provide better services to them. We are further planning to bring GardenTrac 22 which is a special product for vine yards and orchards operations. The company is successfully selling tractors between 20 hp to 60 hp range, which includes GT 20, GT26, Rx 35, Rx 42, RX 47, DI 745, RX 750, RX 60 and WorldTrac 60. Looking at farmer’s requirement in the region we are going to introduce GT 22, RX 47 4WD version and DI 750 III HDM. The DI 750 III HDM is in above 50 HP category and equipped with advanced features that provide more speed in haulage and mileage for agricultural activities. With a lift capacity of 2000kg and 4 cylinder 2000 rated RPM engine, the series consumes 15 % lesser fuel while covering 10% more area enabling the farmers to earn more and save more. The tractor’s engine transmission & hydraulics are designed for minimal frictional losses. Each and every component is engineered to operate without breakdown or stress in all heavy duty operations. The Rx 47 4WD comes with powerful engine and optimized speeds to deliver best-in class performance in agri-applications as well as in haulage. The 4 wheel drive offers better traction which helps in heavy ploughing and haulage application. The tractor has a lift capacity of 1600 Kg and 3 cylinders 2100 rated RPM and fitted with 1SA DCV valve. Gardentrac 22 is technologically advanced 22HP orchard tractor that features extremely powerful engine, power steering and sensitive hydraulic system with automatic depth and draft

control (ADDC) for the ease of operations. This highly fuel efficient tractor can easily work on strenuous operations for long hours and is specially designed in keeping with special needs for orchards (Grapes, Papaya, Apple & Pomegranate) and row crop (sugarcane, cotton and groundnut) farming. This tractor is light & compact with small turning radius and comes with 4wheel drive, which provides better traction for operation across terrains. In order to efficiently meet the ever growing demand and to shorten the availability time of tractors across markets, Sonalika ITL plans to start operations at its state-of-the-art integrated tractor manufacturing plant in Hoshiarpur this year. The plant has a capacity to produce approximately 2 lakhs tractors annually and has a single production line for all variants and models. The plant is equipped with robotic painting facility of chassis for both base and top coat, automated guided vehicle for assembly and materials feeding, fully-automatic test rigs for hydraulic lift & transmission testing and many other first-rate facilities.
