The above horoscope is that of a seasoned & astute politician noted for his multifarious activities and aspirations to occupy coveted positions of authority. Sun & Mercury occupying the ascendant forming Nipuna yoga while Mercury gets Digbala indicate that he has precocious intelligence & memory power. Formidable yogas like Gajakesari, Chandra-Mangala, Adhi, etc. have riveted him to the greatest corridors of power. However, the most notable aspect is the presence of Vipareeta & Neechabhanga Rajyogas formed by Mars, Venus & Saturn. Another remarkable feature is that the Sarvashtakavarga points are above 40 in the 4th, 10th & 11th houses. Such a person reaps exponential benefits out of other people’s efforts. The presence of 11th lord Mercury in Lagna along with Atmakaraka Sun makes the person a good friend who appreciates & rewards loyalty. However, the peculiar disposition of Lagna lord & 6th lord Mars in the 12th with the 12th Lord Venus also makes the person spend heavily on enemies owing to his distrust & reliance on any other person than the self.

Rahu & Guru dashas helped him to establish a stronghold in the political arena as well as the trading community. The occupation of Sun in hidden sign of Scorpio in the nakshatra of Mercury & sub of Saturn indicate gains from things produced from the ground as well as shady transactions. Regarding shady transactions, it is better to wait & watch for the oncoming periods. The current dasha is that of debilitated, retrograde & Neechabhanga yogakaraka Saturn running since 1997. The onset of Saturn Mahadasha gave him chronic illnesses at the personal level. However, the auspicious effects were delivered by allowing him to head many organizations of national importance along with amassing unable wealth through questionable means. Saturn is the planet of ultimate justice and will never fail to deliver what one truly deserves. The current period is that of Saturn – Rahu and the pratyantar dashas of Sun, Moon & Mars between November 2013 & June 2014 will prove to be extremely unfavourable for this native. The transits of Jupiter in the 3rd & that of Saturn & Rahu in the 7th over natal Mars too are inauspicious. During this period, trusted friends & allies may desert him, he may have to face ugly situations with partners and there could be problems related to health & overall well-being. However, Moon & Saturn do form Pravrajya yoga and he can be saved from this turmoil if he decides to lead a detached life and is willing to repent for his past deeds.
