RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT PURSUANT TO RULE XVI OF THE IRR OF R.A. 9184 BAC RESOLUTION NO. __, s. 2016 WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 10, of the Revised IRR of R.A. 9184, this Office has adopted public bidding as the general mode of procurement for the attached Consolidated Annual Procurement Plan FY 2016; WHEREAS, there is an unforeseen contingency requiring the immediate purchase of the items; and that the requests are for the procurement of goods and services, ordinary or regular office supplies and equipment not available in the Procurement Service and involving an amount not exceeding the thresholds as prescribed in Annex “H” of the Revised IRR of RA 9184; WHEREAS, the end- units has indicated the procurement methods to be adopted for the items in their respective Project Procurement Plans (PPMP); WHEREAS, resorting to Alternative Methods of Procurement for the above-cited requests will promote economy and efficiency and will be more advantageous to the Government; NOW, THEREFORE, We, the of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RESOLVE as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend that the items be procured via Alternative Methods of Procurement pursuant to Rule XVI of the Revised IRR of RA 9184; RESOLVED, at the DepEd, (Name of School/District), Davao City, this _____ day of ____ 2016.
