More maps & updated versions are available for free o n http://www.thinkingwithportals.com/, this is just a convenience pack Credits go to original map authors, I just ed & prepared the files for p laying How to install & play --------------------------Quick version: Extract portal2 folder from rar to your portal 2 game folder (so that the final path is PORTAL2GAMEFOLDER\portal2) on both machines. Start a coop game with friend, then use the changelevel command in console to enter one of th e maps in the list below. Detailed instructions: 1) Both players the RAR 2) Extract it using whatever archive manager you prefer 3) Both players grab the "portal2" folder 4) Both players drop it into your Portal 2 folder which is Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\ Windows XP/Vista/7 64bit c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\ Windows will warn you if you want to merge/overwrite the folder, say yes 5) Run the game 6) Start a CO OP game, connect to each other and wait until your both in the gam e (doesn't matter where you end up) 6) Host player then opens console (to enable console go to options>Keyboard>Adva nced and tick "enable developers console", then you can open it with "~" key) 7) type in (and press enter afterwards): changelevel map_name_here.bsp *note you only need to enter the first few letters and the map name will appear in the suggestion dialouge, press the down arrow key and it will fill the rest o f the name in for you. The chamber will now load.

Playing without steam --------------------------1. Launch the game and open CONSOLE (to enable console go to options>Keyboard>Ad vanced and tick "enable developers console", then you can open it with "~" key) 2. (host computer) Type in console "map mp_coop_start" to start CO-OP game (or c hose any of the other maps.. because this is the first mission) 3. When you type in "map mp_coop_start " this is when your friend has to connect to the server using the line "connect 192.168.1.5" (this is just an example, yo u have to use your own IP). 4. Use changelevel or changelevel2 commands in console instead of map to change levels so you won't get dropped to main menu between levels. Example "changeleve l2 mp_coop_wall_intro" * You can use a service such as Hamachi to play without steam over the Internet * You may need update 1 to play with the skidrow version (?) If it doesn't work out, google it! I've played some of these maps with skidrow v
