NUS Pre-Medical Programme (PMP): Competency-Based Curriculum The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) have defined eight competencies which focus on the sciences basic to medicine and their corresponding learning objectives for premedical science education.
