Lanka Holiday House was built in 2013. It is a simple traditional Sri Lankan style house located on one of the most beautiful spots of Mawella beach. It enjoys wonderful view of the Indian ocean. The house is suitable for up to 4 persons, it has a large yard with lovely coconut trees. It is ideal for a large familiy or couples (each occupying one of the two independant bedroom and

bathroom),

privacy.

external space affords opportunity for endgames, safety and for our little guests.

In Turtle Conservation Area at Rekawa you can watch turtles come to shore and lay eggs in the sand while listening to the waves.

Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka and is just two hours away from Lumi house.

Hummanaya is the only known blowhole in Sri Lanka and it may be the second largest blowhole in the world. Meaning of the word “Hummanaya” is the distance a sound of “hoo” can be heard. Blow hole is just twenty minutes away from our house.

Matara is one of the major commercial hubs in the country and it also offers wide range of attractions like Parevi Dupatha Temple, Matara fort, Dutch church and much more.

Galle is a living time capsule. It has a vibrant commercial district that through one of the Fort gates and you are transported back to the Dutch colonial era. Lumi house is approx. two hours away from Kataragama pilgrimage town and two hours away from Sinharaja Forest Reserve. We can also organize trip to Mirissa, famous place for whale watching
