KVPY Syllabus 2017 is prescribed by the exam conducting authority for SA, SB and SX stream. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana or KVPY 2017 is a national fellowship programme managed by the Indian Institute of Science. KVPY was started by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to encourage the students to take up research careers in Basis Science. The aptitude test will be held in the first week of November 2017. In this article, we are updating the complete information related to the KVPY 2017 Syllabus.

KVPY Syllabus 2017 The syllabus will be comprises of four Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology. There is no prescribed syllabus for the aptitude test. The syllabus will contain the topics & chapter of the Class 10th/11th/12th/1st year of B.Sc/BS/B.Stat./B.Math./Int.M.Sc/MS.

Stream SA Syllabus: The syllabus of KVPY exam for Stream SA covers all the topics & chapters of Class X & XI. The syllabus of Stream A is given here: Physics: Magnetic Effects of Current, Sources of Energy, Reflection, Refraction, Electromagnetic Induction, Applications in Daily Life, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Physical World and Measurement, Gravitation, Thermodynamics.

I am in 11th std . My dream is to study in IISC. So can you tell me that for SA stream are all four subjects ﴾pcmb﴿ compulsory or pcm will do? If I got selected in KVPY in 11th then will it be necessary to give exam in 12th too and in that ?? Reply

For Stream SA, Candidates have to complete their 10th class with Science & Mathematics subjects. They have to secure at least 80% marks ﴾70% marks for SC/ST/PwD﴿ aggregate in the qualifying examination. For Stream SX, Candidates have to 10th class with minimum 80% marks ﴾70% for SC/ST/PwD﴿ in aggregate in Mathematics & Science subjects. Candidates also have to qualify the 10+2 examination with Science subjects & secure at least 60% marks ﴾50% for SC/ST/PWD category. Reply

NO this is not necessary IN part 1 their are four sections ﴾maths,biology,physics and chemistry﴿ and same four section in part two. Candidates are allowed to attempt and THREE subject out of for in 1 part and Any TWO subject out of four in second part This is a part from the official website. Reply
