Generally, Discussion Text is“a text which present a speech or piece of writing that gives information, ideas,opinions.This
problem
will
be
discussed
from
different viewpoints.In discussion text the writer tries to present the pros and cons of an issue.

Issue / Isu It consists of statement of the issue. Statement gives necessary background information of the issue
Arguments (pros and cons) Arguments for against or statements of different points of view. It means the writer give their argument consist of argument for and arguments against. Purpose of discussion text The main purpose of discussion text is a discussion text presents different opinions, topic arguments pros and cons, viewpoints or perspectives on an issue. Base on Anderson and Anderson (1998).Discussion text enable to explore more about different ideas both of negative and positive opinion about the issue. It will be meaningful for writing to get important information before making decision.

Some people think that love provides many benefits in life. But some say that love has many disadvantages in life. Both of these are certainly in a romance. Falling in love provides several benefits such as having someone who will continue to be on your side, having someone who always s you, having an intersting life, having someone who can share your live experiences, having a pleasant and colorful life. Besides falling in love will also provide benefits both for the mental and physical of a person so that they are motivated to do better things to make him proud
Example of discussion text Love will always have a positive or negative impact. But this love relationship can be controlled with wise and maturity. You can felel love every time, but don’t commit if you can’t control those feelings so that you don’t dramatize in love
