(a) About the University JaganNath University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, came into existence as a Private University in May 2013. It has been incorporated under Haryana State Legislature Act No. 8 of 2013, and approved under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. The University started functioning with effect from 2013-14 academic session on its own 25 acres campus located at Bahadurgarh - Jhajjar Road, State Highway 22, Haryana, at a distance of 25 kms from Mundka Metro Station, Delhi. JaganNath University is a multifaculty University offering UG and PG programmes various disciplines including Engineering and Technology, Information Technology, Architecture, Management, Commerce, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Sciences and Education. The University has developed a reasonably good infrastructure in the form of classrooms, labs, library, play grounds, faculty, hostels, etc. to provide quality education to students. The University has been promoted by the Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Education Society, which is a ed non-profit organization established in 1993, imparting education through its various institutions in the States of Delhi, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan.  The University has been established under Haryana State Private Universities Act and approved by the UGC u/s 22 of its Act.  All the programmes offered by the University are duly recognized and approved by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana.  B.Arch. programme has been approved by Council of Architecture.  BA.LLB programme has been approved by Bar Council of India.  B.Ed. programme has approval from National Council for Teachers Education.

(g) issions The issions to various programmes are open to all students who fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the University. The ission process is publicized through Prospectus, Website, ment, and other methods. The selection for ission to various courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination, Entrance Test and Interview.

(h) Fees and Scholarships The fee structure is announced at the beginning of the academic session and displayed on the university website and in ission prospectus. The components of fee include Tuition fee, Hostel fee and Transportation fee.

The University gives scholarships to meritorious students in the form of fee concession. The girl students are allowed 10% additional fee concession over and above the merit scholarships. The Haryana domicile students are given scholarships as per the State Government policy. The details of the scholarships are given in the University website. In addition, the students are eligible to get scholarships from Government agencies like Post Matriculation Scholarship for Reserve Category, scholarships for North East and J&K students, JRF for Ph.D. students and others as announced by Governments from time to time.

(i) Budget Estimates The University has sufficient funds to meet all future requirements. The main source of funds include fees, interest on FDR and contribution from the sponsoring body. The s of University finances are properly maintained and audited. Proper budget is prepared in the beginning of the year and expenses are regulated as budgeted.
